Hacienda Las Palmas
Experience the fabulous hunting and fishing of northeastern Mexico in the state of Tamaulipas, and the deluxe accommodations of Hacienda Las Palmas. Perfect for both the dedicated sportsman and the no-nonsense business man who wishes to treat his clients, family, or friends to a first-class excursion. Hacienda Las Palmas is located in the heart of Whitewing Dove, Duck and Quail territory on the legendary Lake Guerrero, also known for its trophy large mouth bass. Built in 1985, Las Palmas has no equal in this ruggedly beautiful land.
The Hacienda has been carefully developed and lovingly maintained. Countless exotic flowering plants and fruit trees surround the Hacienda. The bar, deck, pool, and jacuzzi all offer panoramic views of Lake Guerrero and the surrounding mountainous countryside. Sleeping accommodations are luxurious. Each of our 13 suites have a seating area and private bath.
The Hacienda is located approximately 200 miles south of Harlingen, Texas. It is a 3-hour drive from the airport by car or a 50 minute flight by air. Charter flights are available and we will be happy to help you with arrangements.
Fishing
Trophy bass fishing is offered year round at the Hacienda. The legendary Lake Guerrero is known worldwide for the number of record-class large mouth bass consistently caught here. The incredible scenery and thousands of acres of flooded timber is heaven on earth for any angler. A voluntary catch and release program now observed by most fisherman has made this great lake even better. The Hacienda maintains its own fleet of boats and has expert local guides. Our boats include 18′ fiberglass boats. Yamaha outboard motors and trolling motors. Also available for daily rental are rods, reels and you can purchase the "hottest baits" from our tackle shop.
DUCK, QUAIL, DOVE, AND GOOSE HUNTING
The Hacienda offers a variety of hunting opportunities. We take to the fields for White Wing Dove hunting from August through October. Our Dove shooting is nothing short of spectacular. Thousands of acres of corn and sorghum fields are close to the lodge. Extensive pre-hunt scouting keeps driving times to the shooting areas to a minimum.
The Lodge conducts traditional walk-up quail hunts on fence rows, tree and brush lines and in grain fields from November to February. Our quail scouts have extensive experience hunting quail in Mexico and be sure to put you on the coveys you are looking for.
Las Palmas also offers quality Duck and Goose hunts on and around Lake Guerrero from November to February. The game is abundant and the limits are generous. We hunt out of custom made blinds that can be moved at a moments notice to the place where the ducks are harboring. Our master Waterfowler, will make your duck hunt a memorable experience.

High Volume White Wing Doves
This program consists of 5 Dove hunts. Inclusions are lodging, hunting, all meals, open bar, all transfers, License, single occupancy rooms and guns. The only things not included are shells, and tips. (Tips $400 per shooter/ Shells $20 a box) We fly in to Mcallen where a lodge rep will greet you and transfer you across the border just three hours to the lodge. We hold a total of 13 shooters any given date and run dates Wed - Sat and Sun - Wed. No need to bring your own guns as we furnish shotguns at the lodge and is included.
Additional options at Las Palmas during your stay is bass fishing the famous Lake Gurerro at no extra cost. Feel free to substitute a morning or afternoon of dove hunting for a fishing outing.
