SHOOTING
Afternoons include a volume dove shoot with famous high volume shooting in the roost, or just at the property 5 minutes from the estancia. Based on the rotation of population and weather, ducks or pigeons may be an option in the afternoon shooting.
Estancia San Cirilo offer five different species from the same lodge with extra 6th specie Dorado fishing if desire all basically 5 to 35 minutes from the Estancia.
ACCOMODATIONS
The lodge’s uniquely modern exterior can be deceiving; it functions beautifully as a hunting lodge. With six bedrooms and five bathrooms, the lodge can accommodate up to twelve hunters at a time. There is a grand living room and lounge, a separate dining area, a gun and tackle room and a popular outdoor fire pit with sitting area plus pool table and open bar. Guests of San Cirilo can expect traditional Uruguayan cuisine prepared by a professional chef, accompanied by fine regional wines. Internet access is fully available at the lodge, as is phone service and direct TV as well as A/C in all rooms.

DEPOSIT AND CANCELATION POLICY
A deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total price will be required to confirm any package at any of the lodges operated by the company. This deposit must be made within twenty (20) days from the reservation date of the package. If the deposit is not made within the timeframe the reservation will be automatically cancelled. The balance due shall be paid at least sixty (60) days prior to the proposed arrival date to the lodges.
ACTIVITIES
Today, this fine estancia is the perfect place to learn the traditional Argentine game of polo, as tuition and matches can be arranged. There are two polo fields, which have a magnificent history of excellent polo players. Other activities include horseback riding, golf and boating on the lake. You may also take guided walks around the estancia, bird watching and farming outside the park’s boundaries. Buenos Aires city it’s located just 2 hours from the Estancia with 1 hour hydrofoil Buquebus for shopping and visits this Paris of South America.
HOW TO GET THERE
Estancia San Cirilo is located in the in the northwest region of Uruguay in the state of Rio Negro near the river town of Paysandú. The lodge is approximately 215 miles from Montevideo, the capital of this small country.
Most commonly, shooters traveling on international flights to Uruguay and Montevideo International Airport will be met by a San Cirilo Lodge representative who will assist with gun clearance, if necessary, and who will transport the group to San Cirilo Lodge. The drive is approximately 3.5 hours through scenic rural Uruguay via paved highway.
Other transfer options:
1. Private Charter from Montevideo: guests arriving into Montevideo may charter to the Paysandú Airport (40-minute flight) located approximately 30 minutes from the lodge.
2. Private Charter from Buenos Aires: charters are also available directly to Uruguay from Buenos Aires Argentina Capital. Charters may go directly to Paysandú Airport which is an international airport and offers customs on-site (45 minutes).
Important: all charters need to be arranged time in advanced and cost may vary according to size group and fuel cost.
3. Van Transfers from Buenos Aires, Argentina and even Carmelo, Uruguay: guests of Wide Open Outfitters may transfer by van from Buenos Aires which is approximately 4.5 hours on paved highway or Carmelo 1.5 hour from the Estancia after 2 hours hydrofoil from El Tigre Argentina.
